Finally getting caught up on the video editing after a slow start due to software issues. We have set up a youtube channel which we will figure out how to link to at some point. Don’t worry though, all videos will be linked from this blog. Here’s a few covering our first full day in Asia, which was spent in Seoul.
Noryangjin Fish Market: On the first day we trekked to the Gyeonbokgung palace and got side tracked in the Noryangjin Fish Market. We loved seeing the variety of seafood and interacting with the locals (see video on Instagram). The highlight was picking fish that was cut into sushi in front of us and served in a separate dining area for lunch. It was probably some of the freshest sushi we have ever had!
Gyeonbokgung Palace: When we finally made it to the Imperial Palace, we were given a tour by Marian’s cousin. It’s an amazing facility dating to the 13th century that was unfortunately destroyed several times by Japanese invaders / occupiers. It has been recently reconstructed based on historical records.
Video Recap: At the end of the day we wound up at a Korean BBQ restaurant and the girls gave a recap of the days events.
Thank you! Great videographer and Great subjects. Look forward to more:)
Love, Nancy
Amazing video! Looks like an awesome family adventure. However, Jason, you are a bit like Snoop Dogg’s Plizzanet Earth in a fish market.
