There’s so much to see on the streets of Seoul, but it’s also nice to see Seoul from different perspectives. Here’s three videos that do that.
Gangnam AirBnB: We stayed in the modern Gangnam district, made famous by the K-Pop song Gangnam Style, which was a parody on the faux rich of the district. Our apartment was located on the 18th floor and the building was right above a metro stop. It was a 30-40 minute metro ride to the imperial palace and center of Seoul. The Gangnam district was a popular place to be and our AirBnB was kitty corner from the COEX mall. It had a rooftop common area that we only discovered as we were checking out.
Namsan Tower: Marian’s Korean family took us here. The viewing deck is part of a radio tower built on a strategic hill adjacent to downtown and the imperial palace. There’s still part of the ancient wall that goes over the hill and from here you can see all of Seoul. Here’s some views and humor from above Seoul.
Leaving Seoul: This is a beautiful clip taken on the train as we were departing Seoul south for Choenan. There is a lone water skier in the river and great lighting on the 63 Building.
Fascinating? keep sending great photos‼️
Do you have a map of Korea and where you are (going)?
Love the interiors!
